Introduction

Welcome to The EndZ RP! This guide will help you get started with everything you need to know to begin your journey in our British-themed FiveM server. Whether you’re new to roleplaying or an experienced player, this guide covers all the essentials.

First Time Setup

Step 1: Prepare Your Equipment

  1. Ensure You Meet Requirements:
    • Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements to run FiveM and GTA V smoothly. Check the official FiveM website for specific requirements.
  2. Install GTA V:
    • Purchase and install Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) on your computer through a platform like Steam or Rockstar Games Launcher.
  3. Download FiveM:
    • FiveM is a modification framework for GTA V that allows you to play multiplayer on customized servers like The EndZ RP.
    • Go to the FiveM website (fivem.net) and download the client installer suitable for your operating system (Windows, Linux, or MacOS).

Step 2: Installing FiveM

  1. Run the Installer:
    • Locate the downloaded FiveM installer and run it.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to install FiveM on your computer.
    • Choose a suitable installation location when prompted.

    • If you need assistance, follow the server’s procedure for submitting a support ticket. This is done in the #make-a-ticket channel. Simply press the button to make a ticket.

    • Avoid direct messaging staff members unless directed to do so. Use the support channels to ensure your query is addressed promptly.

How to Join The EndZ RP

Step 1: Finding The EndZ RP Server

  1. Search for Servers:
    • In the FiveM main menu, click on the “Servers” tab.
    • Use the search bar to look for “The EndZ RP” or enter the server IP address if provided by the community.
  2. Join The EndZ RP directly:
    • In the main FiveM menu press F8
    • Type connect jxmryk

Step 2: Initial Setup and Connection

  1. Server Authentication:
    • Wait for FiveM to authenticate and connect you to The EndZ RP server.
    • This process may take a few moments depending on server load and your internet connection.
  2. Loading Process:
    • FiveM will load necessary resources and mods specific to The EndZ RP server.
    • Be patient as this loading process may take some time, especially if it’s your first time connecting.

Character Creation

Step 1: Accessing Character Creation

  1. Initial Connection:
    • Upon your first connection to The EndZ RP server, you will be automatically directed to the character selection screen. Where you will see 5 blank spots.
    • You can make up to five different characters with different roleplay stories.
  2. Select Create a character:
    • To create a new character select one of the available 5 character slots.

Step 2: Basic Information

  1. Name and Background:
    • Input your character’s first and last name.
    • Provide information about their age and nationality.
  2. Avoid using bad names:
    • Using bad language is not allowed for names.
    • Make sure your name is realistic without any spaces.
    • Use – to create double barrelled names.
  3. Press Create:
    • Move onto the next section of creating your character.

Step 3: Customising Appearance

  1. Model Selection:
    • Choose your character’s gender and base model. The EndZ offers a variety of base models to start with, which can be extensively customised.
  2. Facial Features:
    • Heritage:
      • Select parental heritage to determine your character’s basic facial structure. Adjust the resemblance slider to balance between your chosen mother and father models.
    • Face Shape:
      • Modify facial features such as brow, cheekbones, nose, jawline, and chin. Use sliders to fine-tune each feature for a unique look.
    • Skin Tone:
      • Choose your character’s skin tone, blending options from both parents if applicable.
  3. Hair and Eyebrows:
    • Hairstyle:
      • Browse through a variety of hairstyles and select one that fits your character.
      • Adjust the hair color, highlights, and any additional hair features.
    • Eyebrows:
      • Select eyebrow style and colour. Use sliders to modify thickness and shape.
  4. Eyes:
    • Eye Color:
      • Choose from a range of eye colors.
    • Eye Shape:
      • Adjust the size, position, and rotation of the eyes for a more defined look.
  5. Facial Hair:
    • Beards and Mustaches:
      • Select facial hair styles for male characters, adjusting length and color as needed.
  6. Makeup and Blemishes:
    • Makeup:
      • Apply makeup options for eyes, cheeks, and lips. Choose colors and intensity levels.
    • Blemishes and Skin Details:
      • Add or adjust blemishes, moles, freckles, and other skin details to give your character a unique appearance.

Step 4: Body Features

  1. Body Shape and Size:
    • Adjust your character’s body type, including height, weight, and muscle tone.
  2. Tattoos and Scars:
    • Browse through available tattoos and scars. Place them on various parts of the body as desired.

Step 5: Clothing and Accessories

  1. Clothing:
    • Select from a wide range of clothing options for your character’s wardrobe. This includes tops, bottoms, shoes, and outerwear.
    • Mix and match different pieces to create a unique outfit that suits your character’s style.
    • Remember to adjust your hands to avoid your arms clipping through clothing.
    • Avoid clothing that clips though other clothing. Search for good matches.
  2. Accessories:
    • Add accessories such as hats, glasses, watches, and jewelry.
    • Customise the colour and style of each accessory to complement your character’s overall look.
  3. Camera Controls
    • Press the camera button to change the position of the camera.
    • You can also rotate your character and make them turn around by pushing the appropriate buttons.

Step 6: Saving Your Character

  1. Final Review:
    • Review your character’s appearance to ensure you are satisfied with all choices.
    • Make any final adjustments as needed. Don’t worry you can design your character at any time by visiting a clothing store, hair salon, or plastic surgeon.
  2. Save and Confirm:
    • Save your character’s appearance and details by clicking the save icon.
    • Move onto the introduction scene.

  • Roleplay Backstory: Consider your character’s backstory and personality when customizing their appearance. This adds depth to your roleplay experience.
  • Diverse Options: Don’t be afraid to experiment with different features and styles. Illenium-Appearance offers a wide range of customization options to help you create a truly unique character.
  • Attention to Detail: Small details like scars, tattoos, and accessories can make your character stand out and enhance their story.

  • Set your graphics to a level that your system can handle smoothly to avoid lag.

Third Eye and Radial Menu

The third eye feature allows you to interact with various objects in the game world. Use the radial menu to access different actions and items quickly.

Setting Up Your First Apartment

Finding a place to call home is important. Locate and set up your first apartment where you can store items, rest, and start your life in The EndZ. Hold F1 to bring up the radial menu then select furniture menu. You can then purchase and place down furniture. You will need to have a storage box and wardrobe in the prerequisites section. Once placed down, add to basket and purchase to complete your transaction. You can always move furniture in the owned furniture tab.

Inventory System

Learn how to manage your inventory effectively. Keep track of your items, use them wisely, and make sure to store valuable things safely. Access your inventory using F2. You can then move stuff around by clicking and dragging. Put a number in the little box in the middle to select a certain quantity. You can right click on items to use them, drop them or give them to other players. Hold CTRL will allow you quickly select items to swap them from inventory to inventory.

Phone

Your in-game phone is your main tool for communication and accessing services. Learn how to use it to call other players, send messages, and utilize various apps.

Getting Your First Job

Find your first job to earn money. There are various legal and illegal jobs available. Choose one that fits your character’s storyline. Head over to postal 738, to get your first job. You can also reach out to businesses to get a whitelisted job such as mechanics, police and EHS!

Transport Around the City

Learn the different modes of transportation available. Whether it’s public transport, buying a bike, or owning a car, knowing your way around is crucial.

Banking

Manage your finances by setting up a bank account. Deposit and withdraw money, and make sure to keep your funds safe.

Shops

Explore the various shops around the city. Buy essentials, clothes, and items that will help you in your roleplay adventures. Use your third eye to interact with the shop keeper and drag items into your inventory to purchase them.

Getting Your Driving Licence

Before you can drive, you’ll need to get a driving licence. Follow the steps to pass your driving test and earn the right to drive in the city.

Head over to postal 836 and speak to the instructor inside to start your test. Complete your theory exam and then head outside to the car to do your practical.

Buying Your First Car

Once you have your licence, visit a dealership to buy your first car. Make sure to choose one that suits your needs and budget. Use your third eye on the vehicle to interact with it. You can then select purchase or finance. You can put down a 10% deposit and make payments over 24 months.

Make sure you pay your finance otherwise your car will be repossessed! You can make payments in the back room of PDM.

XP System and Skills

Gain experience points (XP) and improve your skills as you play. Understand how the XP system works and how to level up your character. Do /xp to bring up your skills menu!
