To maintain a fair and enjoyable environment, we have established a set of rules that everyone must follow. These guidelines are designed to promote respectful interactions, realistic roleplay, and a vibrant community.

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the following rules. Adhering to these standards ensures that all players can enjoy their time on our server and contribute to a positive, engaging atmosphere.

If you have any questions or need clarification on any rule, feel free to reach out to our staff through the appropriate channels. Welcome to The EndZ, and happy roleplaying!

General Rules

1.1 | Offensive Language

Swearing is permitted within the city limits, considering the game’s 18+ rating, and strong language is to be expected. The use of racial, homophobic and sexual slurs may be used within a roleplay scenario within reason and should not be extensive. These slurs should never be taken outside of roleplay and used within the discord. Staff members reserve the right to punish any players they believe have taken offensive language too far. Use offensive language with caution.

1.2 | Harassment

Conflict should remain within the boundaries of the game or roleplay scenarios. Harassment of any kind, including threats, phishing, doxing, stalking, or any other form of intimidation or abuse, is strictly forbidden. This also extends to personal attacks, spreading false information, or any other behaviour that disrupts the community’s harmony. Violators will face disciplinary action, up to and including permanent bans.

1.3 | Exploiting, Glitching & Hacking

Exploiting, glitching, or hacking to gain an unfair advantage is not allowed. This includes using in-game mechanics or bugs to manipulate outcomes or achieve objectives not intended by the game design. Such behaviour will be met with severe penalties, including permanent removal from the server. Additionally, the use of macros, bots, or any unauthorized modifications to the game client or server is strictly prohibited.

1.4 | Ban Evading

If you are banned from the server, it is for a valid reason. Attempting to evade a ban through alternative accounts, VPNs, or other means is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban from all our servers. We maintain strict enforcement of bans to ensure a fair and enjoyable environment for all players.

1.5 | Trolling

Trolling encompasses any disruptive behaviour intended to annoy or upset other players. This includes, but is not limited to, mic spamming, deliberately causing chaos, blocking spawn areas, or any other actions that hinder the roleplay experience. Remember, this is a roleplay server, and we expect all players to respect the community guidelines and contribute to a positive gaming environment.

1.6 | Real World Trading

Trading or selling in-game items, currency, or services for real money or external value is strictly prohibited. Our community is designed to be fair and free from pay-to-win mechanics. Any player found engaging in such activities will face permanent punishment, including but not limited to item confiscation and a ban from the server.

All real world purchases must be made though the official The EndZ Tebex Store.

1.7 | Age Limits

The EndZ is a mature community featuring content that includes strong language, nudity, drug use, and violence. It is essential that all members are at least 18 years old. If you are found to be underage, you will be removed from the server immediately. We have a zero-tolerance policy for underage players to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all members.

Roleplay Conduct

2.1 | Random Deathmatch (RDM)

RDM (Random Deathmatch) is strictly prohibited. All lethal actions against other players must be preceded by meaningful roleplay. You must initiate and escalate the situation through proper interaction before engaging in combat. This includes, but is not limited to: verbal warnings, clear threats, or reasonable roleplay interactions that justify the use of force.

You may not:

  • Kill or attack another player without prior roleplay interaction.
  • Engage in shootouts or lethal violence without a valid in-character reason.
  • Use killing as a first resort in situations that could be roleplayed differently.

You must:

  • Provide clear roleplay escalation before using lethal force.
  • Give players a fair opportunity to react and respond to hostile situations.
  • Prioritize roleplay over gunplay whenever possible.

2.2 | Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)

Using your vehicle to intentionally kill someone is strictly prohibited. You may only use your vehicle as a weapon if your life is in immediate danger. You can only use your vehicle as a mean to escape. Using a vehicle to incapacitate a player is strictly forbidden. You may knock a player out of your way and drive off but you cannot use it to knock a player down to gain an advantage. All instances of VDM will be reviewed by staff upon being reported. This rule ensures that vehicular gameplay remains realistic and fair within roleplay scenarios.

2.3 | Power Gaming

Power gaming involves using in-game mechanics or progression to unfairly tilt a situation in your favour. This could include exploiting game features or manipulating the environment to gain an unrealistic advantage. We expect all players to engage in fair and balanced roleplay.

2.4 | Valuing Your Life

When faced with danger, it is crucial to value your life realistically. For example, if someone points a weapon at you that could cause serious harm or death, you should act accordingly to preserve your life. Using any command or exploit to escape such scenarios is strictly forbidden. However, if a safe opportunity to escape arises, you may take it, provided it does not put you in further danger.

You may fight back if you are not outnumbered or threatened with a weapon.

2.5 | Roleplay/Combat Logging

Logging out during an active or upcoming roleplay scenario is strictly prohibited. This includes combat situations and any ongoing interactions. Such actions disrupt the roleplay experience and are unfair to other players.

2.6 | Rulebreakers

If you witness someone breaking a rule or find yourself at a disadvantage due to a rulebreaker, you must not break rules in response. Complete the roleplay scenario and then submit a ticket with evidence of the rule violation. Our staff will review and address the issue.

Do not break character at any time!

2.7 | Realistic Names

Player and gang names must be realistic and non-offensive. Names associated with racial hatred groups, terrorist organizations, or other sensitive subjects are prohibited. Unrealistic names, such as “Phil McShlong” or “123SwagScope,” are not allowed. We encourage names that fit the roleplay environment, like “John Smith.”

2.8 | Language

English is the only language to be used during roleplay and in-chat on our servers. As a British server, it is essential that all players speak basic English to participate effectively in roleplay scenarios.

2.9 | Impersonation/Clothing

Impersonating the police without admin approval is forbidden. This includes wearing police clothing, using police equipment, or activating the panic button while not on duty as a police officer. Wearing items that display weapons gives police grounds to search you. Impersonating an admin is also strictly prohibited.

2.10 | New Life Rule

If you respawn at the hospital after being downed, you must consider this as a new life. You cannot return to the location of your death or seek revenge on those responsible. You may remember your previous life but not the specific events or individuals leading to your death.

2.11 | Realistic Driving

Driving manoeuvres must be realistic. This includes avoiding unrealistic actions like driving sports cars up hills or performing stunt jumps from buildings. Vehicles suitable for such actions, like 4x4s or dirt bikes, are exceptions. Players must roleplay any injuries from major crashes. If a player breaks this rule during a pursuit, police may mimic their actions without penalty.

2.12 | Breaking Roleplay

You should never break character or roleplay while in-game, regardless of the situation. This applies to all forms of communication, including radio and interactions with friends.

2.13 | Roleplaying Sexual Assault

Any form of roleplay involving sexual assault or threats is strictly forbidden. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy on this matter to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all players.

2.14 | Basic Roleplay is Required

Active participation in roleplay is mandatory. Players who avoid or neglect roleplay scenarios may face disciplinary action. This server is designed for immersive roleplay, and we expect all members to contribute to the interactive experience.

2.15 | Kidnapping/Hostages

Kidnapping is allowed if it involves proper roleplay. Always engage with your hostage meaningfully. If you lack time for roleplay, release the hostage. You cannot kidnap or use a friend as a hostage. Kidnappings should not exceed 45 minutes.

2.16 | Medical Custody

If treated by a paramedic or police officer, you must comply and roleplay the medical treatment, including being taken to the hospital if necessary. Do not obstruct ambulance personnel from providing medical aid at any scene. If you wish to dispose of a body to avoid them receiving medical treatment, you must dump the body in the ocean. Paramedics will receive a notification and location of downed players so expect them to arrive to assist.

2.17 | Pursuits

You may join pursuits, but with limitations. Friends or gang members can participate with a maximum of 2 cars and 4 people, not including those originally involved in the pursuit. You may not involve yourself if you are not affiliated in anyway.

2.18 | Negotiations

Negotiators cannot be taken hostage. The maximum ransom for one hostage is £50,000 (Being a VIP or Gold Command Police Officer). You may take a maximum of 3 hostages. Each hostage will grant you one demand.

2.19 | Ambulance killing, kidnap and robbery

Paramedics are essential to the city and must not be killed, kidnapped, or robbed under any circumstances. However, they are required to value their life—if you are a criminal and want a paramedic to leave a scene, you may threaten them with a weapon. If they refuse to comply, lethal force is permitted.

EndZ Health Service (EHS) vehicles cannot be stolen or robbed under any circumstances.

2.20 | Police killing, kidnap and robbery.

You may kill police officers if they fail to comply with your demands, but all lethal actions must be roleplayed properly. You must clearly warn the officer that they will be killed if they do not comply. Stabbing or killing an officer without any interaction is strictly prohibited.

  • Kidnapping: Police officers can be kidnapped only if there are at least five officers on duty. A maximum of one officer may be kidnapped at a time.
  • Robbery: Police officers cannot be robbed at this time—this rule may change in the future.

2.21 | Police Baiting

Baiting police officers is against the rules. This includes spamming notifications to attract police attention or performing burnouts in front of them. Police play a crucial role in the server and should not be unnecessarily distracted.

2.22 | Police Interaction

Players should respect the role of police officers in the server. This includes complying with reasonable demands and not engaging in unnecessary confrontations. Players should also avoid excessively attacking or targeting police officers without a valid roleplay reason.

2.23 | Item Transferring

Transferring money between your characters is allowed, but transferring any other items is prohibited.

2.24 | Aircraft

Operating any aircraft requires the appropriate license. Helicopters and planes must be landed at designated helipads or airports. Within city limits, you must not fly below an altitude of 100.

Restrictions:

  • Helicopters cannot be used to land directly at heist locations; they must be landed outside the city in Sandy Shores or Paleto Bay at a designated pickup point.
  • Landing on roads is strictly prohibited.

2.25 | Injury Roleplay

When you are downed, you must roleplay your injuries realistically. You should not communicate with friends or taunt enemies while incapacitated. You should interact with emergency services when they are on scene. If you are involved in a major accident, you are expected to roleplay the severity of your injuries appropriately. This includes portraying the effects of being stabbed, shot, or beaten, ensuring a realistic and immersive experience for all players.

2.26 | Voice Identification

Police officers and players are not permitted to identify players solely by their voice. Identification must be based on visual cues, such as clothing, tattoos, accessories, or other distinguishing features. Voice recognition alone is not a valid method for confirming a player’s identity.

Metagaming Rules

3.1 | Out of Character (OOC)

You must remain in character at all times and not break immersion during roleplay.

You must not:

  • Talk out of character to anyone whilst in the city.
  • Talk to staff out of character about issues or situations whilst in city.

If you wish to talk out of character, please join the OOC discord channel where you can discuss matters out of character.

3.2 | Metagaming Players

Metagaming includes using information that your character has not obtained through in-game roleplay. If you discover someone’s name outside of roleplay, you cannot use that name in any roleplay context. Additionally, your characters cannot share information or be aware of each other’s lives. Statements like, “My cousin said…” or “My cousin was in that part of town…” are not permissible, as they imply knowledge your character wouldn’t realistically have.

3.3 | Outside Information

Using information obtained from outside the server in your roleplay is considered metagaming. For example, if a friend tells you a player’s location through a third-party messaging app, you cannot act on or use this information in-game. Roleplay actions must be based solely on in-game interactions and knowledge.

3.4 | Third-Party Communication

Communication about in-game activities should be done through in-game methods only, such as Twitter, text messaging, phone calls, or radio. Using third-party applications like Discord or TeamSpeak to share in-game information is strictly forbidden. Anyone caught using third-party communication for in-game purposes will face disciplinary action. This ensures that all roleplay remains immersive and fair.

3.5 | Additional Characters

Information gathered by one character cannot be automatically transferred to another character. It must be reintroduced in-game through another player. Additionally, you cannot have multiple characters in the same gang or faction. For example, a police officer character and a civilian character cannot both be in the same organization. While police and EHS members can create alternative characters, any information must not cross over between characters. This rule maintains the integrity and separation of each character’s roleplay experience.

Miscellaneous Rules

4.1 | Player Error

We do not provide compensation for any issues resulting from player error. This includes losing items due to a server restart. To minimize the risk of losing items, you should disconnect from the server at least 5 minutes before the scheduled restart. For a complete safeguard against rollbacks, it is recommended to log out 10 minutes prior to the restart.

4.2 | Spamming

Spamming in any form, whether on Discord or the game server, is strictly prohibited. This includes repeatedly messaging staff. Any questions or issues should be addressed through a ticket or in the general chat. Spamming disrupts the community and will be dealt with accordingly.

4.3 | Staff Disrespect

All staff members must be treated with respect, regardless of their rank. Decisions made by staff are final. Disrespecting any staff member will result in disciplinary actions, including potential bans from the server. Remember, staff are here to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

4.4 | Staff Reports

Accusing a staff member without sufficient evidence is a punishable offense. If you have valid evidence to support your accusation, please submit it to Stardawg via Direct Message on Discord. Baseless accusations waste time and resources and will not be tolerated.

All staff activity is logged, and regularly monitored to ensure no abuse of power has taken place.

4.5 | Contacting Staff

Staff members may not respond to direct messages. The correct procedure for seeking help or raising issues is by submitting a ticket. Do not tag (@) staff members directly. This ensures that all issues are handled systematically and efficiently.

4.6 | Foreign Server Advertisement

Advertising third-party servers on our Discord, in-game chat, or VOIP is strictly forbidden. As members of The EndZ, we expect you to adhere to this rule and refrain from promoting our server in malicious ways on other platforms. We have our own methods of advertising.

We strive for fair play and integrity in our community and expect the same from our members.

4.7 | Compensation

We only provide compensation for lost items with valid video evidence. The evidence must be recent (within the last 24 hours). We do not compensate for player errors, such as using a vehicle’s glovebox as storage, as this is not considered a valid storage method. Ensure that you follow proper procedures to avoid loss of items.

4.8 | Economy Rules

Abusing the in-game economy by exploiting financial systems, money glitches, or engaging in unauthorized trades is prohibited. Players should adhere to the established economic guidelines and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to the staff.

4.9 | Bug Reporting

Players are encouraged to report any bugs or glitches they encounter to the staff. Exploiting these bugs instead of reporting them will result in disciplinary action. Providing detailed information about the bug will help the staff resolve issues more efficiently. Please do this via the ticket system on Discord.

4.10 | Event Participation

Players are encouraged to participate in server events and respect the rules set forth by event organisers. Disrupting events or failing to follow event-specific rules will result in disciplinary action. Events are considered green zones, meaning all participants are immune to kidnap, robbery and police action.

4.11 | Call Admin Command

The /calladmin command should only be used in urgent situations, such as bugged characters, reporting cheaters/hackers, or other critical issues that require immediate attention.

You must not:

  • Spam or misuse /calladmin for non-urgent matters.
  • Use it to ask general questions, request a revive, or report minor issues.

For non-urgent concerns, submit a ticket in Discord to ensure proper handling by the staff team. Misuse of the command may result in penalties.

These detailed rules are designed to maintain a fair, respectful, and orderly community environment, ensuring a positive experience for all members of The EndZ.

Disciplinary Action – 3 Strike System

This three-strike disciplinary system ensures that players are given opportunities to correct their behavior while maintaining a structured and fair approach to rule enforcement. It also allows for flexibility in handling severe infractions and provides a clear appeals process for players who believe they have been unfairly disciplined.

Verbal Warning (Pre-Strike)

Issuance: For minor infractions, staff members have the option to issue a verbal warning. This is a friendly reminder of the rules and does not count towards the three-strike system.

Communication: The verbal warning will be communicated through a private message or voice chat, specifying the rule broken and the nature of the violation.

Record: The verbal warning will be noted in the player’s record for tracking purposes but will not count as an official strike.

Guidance: The player will be given guidance on how to avoid repeating the infraction and encouraged to review the server rules.

Strike 1: Written Warning

Issuance: The first time a player violates a server rule in a more significant way or repeats a minor infraction, they will receive a formal written warning.

Communication: The written warning will be communicated through a private message, specifying the rule broken and the nature of the violation.

Record: The written warning will be logged in the player’s record as the first strike.

Guidance: The player will be given detailed guidance on how to avoid repeating the infraction and encouraged to review the server rules thoroughly.

Strike 2: Temporary Ban

Issuance: If a player violates another rule after receiving a written warning, they will receive a temporary ban.

Duration: The temporary ban will last for 24-72 hours, depending on the severity of the infraction.

Communication: The player will be informed of the temporary ban through a private message, detailing the rule broken, the nature of the violation, and the duration of the ban.

Record: The temporary ban will be logged in the player’s record as the second strike.

Strike 3: Permanent Ban

Issuance: If a player commits another violation after returning from a temporary ban, they will receive a permanent ban from the server.

Communication: The player will be informed of the permanent ban through a private message, explaining the rule broken, the nature of the violation, and the reason for the permanent ban.

Record: The permanent ban will be logged in the player’s record as the third strike, and they will be removed from all server-related platforms (e.g., Discord).

Additional Considerations

Severe Infractions

Immediate Action: Certain severe infractions, such as hacking, doxing, or severe harassment, may warrant immediate action, bypassing the three-strike system. In these cases, the player may be permanently banned without prior warning or temporary ban.

Review: These actions will be reviewed by senior staff members to ensure fairness and accuracy.

Appeals Process

First and Second Strikes: Players who receive a written warning or temporary ban have the right to appeal the decision. Appeals must be submitted through the official channels (e.g., a ticketing system) within 48 hours of the disciplinary action.

Permanent Bans: Players who receive a permanent ban may submit one appeal within 30 days of the ban. Appeals for permanent bans will be reviewed by senior staff members, and a decision will be communicated within 7 days.

Probationary Period

Post-Ban Monitoring: Players returning from a temporary ban will be placed on a probationary period for 30 days. Any infractions during this period will result in a permanent ban.

Behavioural Monitoring: Staff members will monitor the behaviour of players on probation more closely to ensure compliance with server rules.

Staff Discretion

Case-by-Case Basis: While the three-strike system provides a general framework, staff members have the discretion to handle cases on an individual basis, considering the context and severity of each infraction.

Consistency and Fairness: Staff members will aim to apply the disciplinary system consistently and fairly to all players.
